Tarsila for Children

Context

Commissioned by YDreams Brasil and completed in November 2019, the project turns an entire wall into a living setting inspired by Tarsila do Amaral’s paintings.

Challenge

Make children’s hand-painted paper drawings appear in the scene seconds later on a continuous, large-format projection surface.

Solution

A mapped wall with three blended projectors and a real-time digitization pipeline: each drawing is captured, cut out and animated inside the Tarsila-inspired setting, where children recognize it immediately.
